Brown, Jr. Brown, a former Governor of Kentucky and the mastermind behind the transformation of KFC into an empire, joined forces with Rogers to revolutionize the restaurant scene once again.

Kenny Rogers Roasters emerged as a beacon of healthy eating, offering rotisserie chicken and wholesome sides as an alternative to deep-fried fast food. With a menu boasting herb-marinated roast chicken, homemade muffins, baked potatoes, and salads, the restaurant captured the hearts and palates of diners seeking a guilt-free dining experience. 

Over time, the menu expanded to include ribs, soups, desserts, and beverages, catering to a diverse array of tastes.

Despite its initial success, Kenny Rogers Roasters faced challenges in the US market, ultimately declaring bankruptcy in 2011. 

The brand found new life under the ownership of Berjaya Corporation Behad, thriving in markets across Asia and the MENA region, with plans for a resurgence in the United States.
